| Polymer | A macromolecular material formed by the chemical combination of monomers having either the same or different chemical composition |
| Polymer Density | Density of the material made up strictly by the foam chemistry without fillers or reinforcements included |
| Polymerization | Converts monomers into polymers |
| Rubber | General term for elastomer materials |
| Viscosity | Flow property of a material. The lower the number, the thinner the liquid |
| Vulcanized | A a solid elastomer produced by crosslinking a liquid suspension of polymer molecules |
